early on in our relationship, my special lady said that flowers aren't important to her, but we special men (?) shouldn't fall for that trap. and i think that's true. flowers themselves are not important. what is important is taking steps to show your wife that you love her outside of the normal, prescribed times.
i think that should be done on a daily basis. flowers are one way to do that, which i'll do maybe once a year. maybe twice.
i think doing them routinely every other month (or is bimonthly twice a month) would get repetitive and turn her off. unless, of course, your wife appreciates rote, mechanical love.
so what you're really saying is it's a matter of taste. what seems rote to you--frequency--might seem rather kind to somebody else. and, as you say, if showing your love in the way she likes it is flowers more often...if the shit fits, wear it!

bimonthly means every other month.
